Not that I mind (the new versions look great), but I find it a little odd they’re restoring these old films. Guess there’s a market for it.

Thanks for this comparison clip. I most scenes better in restored state, but the main problem is that the height to width proportion is misaligned compared to the screen heights/widths we got today. In few/some/many scenes it is very easy to feel that something is "cut" from above and below. I grew up with PAL resolution (4x3). Thanks for Your work!

Very nice work. I too dabble in video restoration but I only have what's on the net to work with (have posted some colour corrected vids on xH). I take it you have access to the original film stock? Can I ask what software you use for post-processing? Any info or tips/tricks would be much appreciated. :smile:
